SAMQG recently coordinated a fun charity sew-in to make Pet Postcards.

Come make Pet Postcards for the International Quilt Festival's charity fund raiser. Materials and sewing machines are supplied, but you can bring your own as well. This is "Open House" style, come for an hour or stay all day! This is the last year for the project-let's make it a good one- we sent 50 cards last year...can we do better this year?

We are on target to send LOADS of postcards this October to benefit Friends For Life no-kill animal shelter.
We had a pretty great turn out for the event, hosted at a member's house. Thanks again for letting us stitch up your house!!
And of course there was potluck. Mmmmm..... potluck....
